Ingredients:
1 litre water
2 Rooibos tea bags
1/2 lemon – juice only
1 tsp honey
Method:
Boil the water in a kettle or a pot, and pour into a large jug.
Add two tea bags, and allow them to steep for 2-3 minutes.
Remove the tea bags, and add lemon juice, along with the sweetener if you are using it.
Allow the tea to cool down, then place it in the fridge. Leave it for a few hours or overnight to chill it completely.
Serve rooibos iced tea with ice cubes and lemon slices.
