It’s been a while… Can you believe we’re only a couple of months away from Christmas and the end of the year!

Earlier this year I came upon a training opportunity and decided to step out of my comfort zone and give myself the opportunity to expand my knowledge, expertise and services. I am so glad I did. It’s empowering and has given me new direction.

When last did you step outside of your comfort zone?

Comfort Zone is defined as – a situation where one feels safe or at ease. A settled method of working that requires little effort and yields only barely acceptable results.

Excuses can get in the way of taking that first step. Fear of the unknown. It’s easier to stay where you are (work, relationships, advancement). Being afraid to change direction, learn something new.
Tips to get out of your comfort zone:

  • Challenge your beliefs
  • Be honest with yourself
  • Change your routine
  • Start small
  • Accept failure
