Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Nutrition and Wellness Coach?
A Nutrition and Wellness Coach works with you on the habits, mindset and behaviours around food and lifestyle, not just what’s on your plate. The focus is on sustainable, long-term change through conversation, coaching and self-discovery rather than set meal plans.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes, all coaching sessions are available both in person in Blouberg, Cape Town and online via video call, making it easy to work with me wherever you are.
What is the Non-Diet Approach?
The non-diet approach moves away from restriction, calorie counting and diet rules. Instead it focuses on nourishing your body, building a healthy relationship with food, and listening to your body’s natural hunger and fullness cues. It’s about feeling good, not hitting a number on a scale.
What is the difference between the 4-Week Kickstart and the Eating Freely Programme?
The 4-Week Kickstart is ideal if you want to reset your habits, improve your energy and get practical nutrition guidance in a short, focused programme. The Eating Freely™ Programme is a deeper, 12-session journey specifically designed for emotional and binge eating, incorporating neuroscience, CBT and mindfulness over 3 to 6 months.
Do you work with men, or only women?
My coaching is primarily focused on women, though the principles of the non-diet approach apply to anyone. Reach out via the contact page to discuss whether the programme is a good fit for you.
Where are you based and do you travel to clients?
I am based in Cape Town, South Africa. In-person sessions take place in Blouberg, Cape Town, Online sessions are available for clients outside of Cape Town.
What does a grocery shopping assist involve?
I join you on your grocery shopping trip to help you make healthier choices in real time, reading food labels, identifying better ingredient swaps, and recommending healthy staples for your grocery cupboard and fridge. It’s practical, personalised and eye-opening.
Can you do nutrition talks for our company or group?
Yes, I offer nutrition talks for corporate wellness days and informal talks for group settings like book clubs or fitness groups. These are tailored to your audience and designed to be engaging and practical. Contact me for availability and pricing.
